Papilio paris, also called Paris Peacock is a butterfly from Australasia / Indomalaya ecozone (Australia). The first description was in 1758 by Linnaeus. This butterfly is a member of the family PAPILIONIDAE. Papilio paris is black with a metallic-green area that dominates the hind wings.
The wingspan is about 8 10 cm.
